Students from SciencesPo inspired by David Hare's play The Power of Yes set up a European project to give young people the opportunity to express themselves about the financial crisis.

A project of cultural cooperation

 


A group of students from SciencesPo in collaboration with La Transplanisphère presents World Crisis Theatre, a cultural project that aims at an appropriation of the financial crisis.

20 students from 4 European universities participate to this project : Freie Universität (Berlin), London School of Economics, Galatasaray university (Istanbul) and Sciences Po (Paris).

Paris Workshop week in February

From February the 7th until the 12th, the participants will all gather in Paris and work together.
Workshops, debate, press conference, public performances...
the participants will have the opportunity to share and discuss about the crisis, exchange opinions and perspectives,
and work on the different interviews they have made in their countries.
This week is the key moment of the World Crisis Theatre project!

World Crisis Theatre Performances

ici_et_demain_2011

The Sciences Po group has been selected by the Festival Ici et Demain to perform a play they have created with other students from Europe. The play is based on the different interviews the students have carried out in Paris and in the different partner countries.

The play is staged by Bruno Freyssinet.

Anna, Mathilde, Julia, Hannah, Siret and Forbon has performed in Paris on:

- Saturday, 12th March, 7.30 pm : Point Ephémère

- Tuesday 15th March, 8.pm : Confluences
